Why I Created Koreform
The story behind the bra built by a woman who was done blaming her body after 50.

Hi, I'm Susan.
For most of my life, I never thought about my bra. I'd put one on in the morning and forget it was there. Then I turned 50, and everything changed.
Nobody warns you about this part. After menopause, my body wasn't wrong — just… different. My breasts had changed shape, and suddenly every bra I owned turned on me. The cups gaped. The straps slid down before noon. The underwire dug into my ribs until all I could think about was getting home and tearing the whole thing off.
So I did what we all do. I went shopping — the "comfort" brands, the expensive ones, always ordering my exact size. And it still didn't fit. I'd stand in the fitting room wondering what was wrong with me.
And I of all people should have known better. Because I spent over 20 years designing bras for some of the biggest lingerie brands in the world. I knew exactly how these bras were built — and who they were built for.
Then one day it hit me: nothing was wrong with me. It was the bras. Every single one was built on the same pattern — one made for a firm, 28-year-old body. Not one was designed for the body I had now. Not even the "mature" collections I'd worked on myself.
So I made the one I couldn't find. No underwire — because support should never mean metal digging into your skin. Instead, soft gel cups that lift and hold you gently, straps that actually stay put, and a fit you slip on in the morning and simply forget you're wearing.
I named it The Susan, after myself — because I'm not hiding behind a faceless brand. I lived every bit of this, and I made it for women like me.
It wasn't your body that failed you. It was your bra. And you deserve to feel like yourself again — starting now.
